The hardest cards we make
I think we all agree that sympathy cards are the hardest cards we have to make and send. Many times we need them at the last minutes and since we don’t particularly making these cards most of us don’t have a stash of them for when the need arises.
I am no exception. I don’t have a stash of sympathy cards. I think I have one in the drawer and it really isn’t one I am particularly crazy about so when I find myself needing a sympathy card, I have to make one.
I needed this card for a client whose husband passed away. I knew he was ill for a few months now and just put off making a card I knew I would need.
I like the look of this card and may need to reproduce this so I have a couple of these on hand just in case.
My base is SU Certainly Celery. I added a layer of Chocolate Chip then my white. For an added touch of class, I scored 2 lines at the bottom and kept the entire card very simple and understated.
My image is from a clear polymer set that I sort of inherited but I have no clue where it came from. I think it might be Martha, but I’m not sure. So, if anybody has a clue, please share.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful day filled with all that your heart desires!
