A peek into . . . .

Ok, I admit it. I’m nosey! I love looking at all your craft rooms/spaces! I’ve peeked at lots and lots of rooms and thought it only fair that I let you peek into my space.

A little history - My home is a century home with lots of doorways and cool features like a built in window seat, built in china cabinet and wide baseboards.

In the past 18 months I have moved my craft room about 7 times. I started with a cabinet in the dining room and created on the dining room table. Then I moved upstairs to the spare room, then rearranged that multiple time. Then I moved downstairs into my foyer. Then I moved it all around a couple of times.

Finally, I decided to stop feeding my kids so I could afford more stampin stuff. Well, if you don’t feed the kids, you don’t need a dining room. * snort * -

Seriously, I switched the foyer and dining room around since it’s just me and the boys and my foyer is a decent size.

So, now I am in the dining room again. I’m right back where I started, only on a larger scale.

My walls are painted a version of Pumpkin Pie.

This a view from my living room doorway moving around the room to the right.

Here’s my desk. This white cube system I got at a new store in our area called Ollie’s. It was $6.00 and I think I need to go back and buy a couple more of these. The second cube up on the right side is now my photo box. So far it is working well.

Continuing to the right, this table that forms an L with the desk. This is where lots of the stamping takes place and there is enough room for others to stamp with me. (Andrew likes to take over this space when he creates)

This is my built in china cabinet which houses more goodies, and my very important wine glasses. The drawers hold table clothes and place mats and whatnot.

This is the wall directly across from my crafting table. The bookshelf I kinda, sorta inherited. The cubes all came from Michaels. The cabinet was repurposed from the basement and holds stamps. The black and white in the bottom of the picture is Ebony trying to get in on the action. She is our terrier beagle mix and she is soooooo spoiled! The photo is the boys, Andrew and Shane, being nice to on another!

Continuing to the right is my TV and 2 more cube units which house more supplies and the bottom 2 square drawers house cards sorted by category. All that brown paper on the top of the storage units is from my SU shipments. I use it on cards and to protect my desk when I have company or stampin’ helpers.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the tour of my messy desk and stampin escape!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

I nearly spit coffee on the monitor...sounds just like something that would roll out of my mouthh. You are not alone...I've done the same thing over and over again and usually ended right back where I started.

Great craft room...and the color of your walls is to die for.

No room for me right now..in the midst of moving. Thanks for sharing.
