Long neglected
Have you ever just had to HAVE a stamp set, only to find out you aren’t so crazy about it once you actually own it?
Well, I just HAD to have SU’s Friendship Blooms when it came out. HAD TO I tell ya!
Once I got it, I realized I absolutely hated the large flower. Don’t like it, don’t use it, and avoid it at all costs.
So, I challenged myself to find a way to use that stamp. This simple card was really hard for me because of this stamp. Now, don’t get me wrong. I LOVE the rest of the set, just not that flower. So I added some pink, made a simple card and here is the end result.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!
Stamps: SU Friendship Blooms
CS and DP: WW, SU Regal Rose
Inks, markers and coloring tools: SU Rose Red & Pretty in Pink
Extra goodies: corner punch

I love the way you used the blossoms off the edges of the corners!! Fabulous clean and simple card!!
Fresh Cuts is that set for me. I don't even know if I've ever inked it up beyond the one time that I tried! Your card is fabulous, Michelle!
The way you've placed the flowers partially off the corners is lovely. Nice arrangement there.
Very pretty and simple in a good way.
I totally understand where you're coming from Michelle...been there and done that! Great card though & tfs!!!
You did a great job with this set! I have had that happen to me before too (:

Your post made me laugh. Sometimes I buy I set I love but have no idea what to do with it once I have it. I love the simplicity of the card...it works.
I have this same set, and I think I only used it once
I feel the same way about the large flower! I love the smaller loopy things!! your card is very pretty! The big flowers look great in the corners!!
Thank you for asking about my Mom. She is good. We just had a good weekend away to the Wisconsin Dells! We all needed it!!
I'm happy you were able to give this stamp some love and attention! Cute card too! Now that wasn't so bad was it? Soon you'll be reaching for it again1
