I made this card for the Ladies, Ink sketch challenge using Cathleen’s sketch. A link to her blog is on my sidebar.
I really wanted an antique-y feel to my this card and didn’t want the traditional green and red, but wanted green and red. So, I used Very Vanilla, Mellow Moss and Bravo Burgundy and really like this combo. I don’t use Mellow Moss very often and I’m not sure why because every time I use it, I love the look of it.
I used SU’s Tree Trimming and Christmas Greetings, both which I got for my birthday.
I must be SAJ challenged as I had a heck of a time lining up the strings and ornaments! OY! Of course, the fact that I don’t actually own a SAJ and was using a T ruler and acetate may have something to do with my issues. Then again, maybe not!
I cb’d my bravo burgundy with the Christmas Ornaments folder, rounded my corners and ta da!
One more Christmas card done and no clue how many more I need to make!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!
