Third time is . . .

A charm? Hmmm….sometimes. But this card took 4 tries! I thought CAS stood for Clean and SIMPLE! This has to be one of the hardest cards I’ve made lately. .. . I’m pretty sure it was all my silly mistakes, but still . . .

In the end, I love the way this turned out!

I wanted a CAS single layer . . .well, what I got was a CAS 2 layer, but that was mostly by choice. I really wanted to try embossing with my nesties straight onto my card, but I am so obsessive about mechanics showing that I just couldn’t do it. So, I used this technique that I found on Stamp TV. But I changed it up, flipped the cs over so the raised embossing was part of my main image and then created this. Colored with Copics and tada. . .

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

Well I think your time was well spent. The card came out very nice. I love all the cards that have alot of embellishments on them but, sometimes the CAS way is the way to go....like in your card. GREAT JOB!!!

Hey Michelle .. this is AWESOME! I agree, I find this a bit difficult to do too and usually give up but I'm glad you persisted because the outcome is beautiful!

I love this look, the embossing is great. Very nice! Don't you hate it though when your CAS cards take longer than your other cards?

Love your outcome. CAS is not easy to pull off a lot of the time...this one nails it perfectly.

I love this card. Isn't it funny how sometimes the "simple" ideas take the longest to get right? I am so like that at times.
