Snow in July!

I’ve never tried the stair step card, until now. When I was looking through all the wonderful cards on SCS I saw one using Unity’s Jolly Winter and I loved it. Shane absolutely loves penguins, so I decided to case this card by raebirdrhi.

I used liquid appliqué and a paint brush for my snow, then added white EP to keep the snow white. I cut all the pieces and parts out and then applied them, which I do not recommend. I ended up using clothes pins to hold everything together until it set.

I’m not totally in love with this card, but Shane is. I’ll have to play with the stair step card more and see if I can perfect this cool technique.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

Stamps: Unity Jolly Winter
CS and DP: SU WW
Inks, markers and coloring tools:
Extra goodies: copics, liquid applique, white EP
