Country kitchens

I saw a challenge on SCS for faux grid and knew the second I saw it that I wanted to use the apple from SU’s Sun Ripened II because the apple reminds me of a country kitchen.

So, since I had some time, I decided to combine that challenge with SCS sketch SC237, 365 cards #53 fun with fruit and SCS CAS09 distressing. 4 challenges, 1 card – not too bad!

My creamy caramel bg panel is stamped with the leaves from the apple from this set, run through my CB with D’vine Swirls, then the edges were distressed. For an added pop I ran the distressed edges over the creamy caramel ink pad. I popped that panel on dimensionals, the popped my image on dimensionals too.

Sorry there are no links to the challenges, but when I tried to link to the SCS challenges here, their site was down. *sigh*

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

Stamps: SU Sun Ripened II, SU wheel - I think it's watercolor vines

CS and DP: SU creamy caramel, garden green, real red

Inks, markers and coloring tools: SU Garden Green, Creamy Caramel, Palette Noir Black, Copics

Extra goodies: distresser, CB, dimensionals
