Sometimes, we struggle with a card for hours, or even days, then suddenly BAM! We get an idea, an inspiration, something and it all comes together in a matter of minutes.
That is the case with the card. I’m sure that all of the extras going on in my life this week contributed to my struggles, but this morning – the fog cleared and I finished this one in about 10 minutes.
I have 9 challenges here.
365 cards - #42 Stamp a background
#118 I’ve been framed
#115 Paper piecing
# 75 Imagine this (Coffee)
# 9 Just the scraps
SCS - CAS 18 – Pinks/corals, kraft and one other color
SC 84 – Sketch
CAS 2 – 1 button will do
CAS 20 Paper piecing
My coffee bag was stamped on the paper that comes in the box when you get an order from SU and then crinkled it all up, smoothed it back out and applied to the card. I distressed my edges because Shane (my 11 year old) thought it was a cool tool.
Now, I’m off to enjoy some wonderful weather here in Ohio and hang out with my most favorite 11 year old!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!
