Good night little one

Happy Wednesday!

Have you ever found a sketch you wanted to use, planned out your card according to that sketch and had the finished product look nothing like the original sketch? Well, if you have, then you will easily relate to this card.

I started out using SCS SC214, and this is what I ended up with. Guess I missed the mark on the sketch, but I like the finished product.

A word to all you single moms with only boys – don’t ask them how your card looks. My boys did not like this card at all – not even a little bit. Oh, well! I mean, honestly . . . what do they know? They are, after all, BOYS – *sigh *

My main image is some unknown stamp with no info on it anywhere, but he/she sure is cute. All of my DP is DCWV Nana’s Kids and my image was colored with Copics. I paper pieced the bed/blanket with a scrap from one of my squares, added my ribbon and my little jewel.

So, what do YOU think, since we know the boys in my life absolutely hate this?

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

Stamps: unknown

CS and DP: DCWV Nana's Kids

Inks, markers and coloring tools: Copics

Extra goodies: Ribbon, bling

What do BOYS know anyway? lol

The colors and sparkle combine wonderfully on this, and the dangling charm is the perfect embellishment. Cute card.

I think it's gorgeous! from my experience, boys don't like anything unless it has rocknroll, baseball or food on it. At least that's what it's like in my house. Don't pay them no mind!

This is very sweet. I too often start out with a sketch or color combo to work on and end up with something different. And I agree about boys. I used to send my nephew cards just to say hello. I asked my sister if he enjoyed getting the cards and apparently he once opened one and said "what am I supposed to do with this?". You can bet that was the last card I sent him that didn't have a gift attached.
