Curry flower
Quick and simple cards are usually anything but. This simple little card took me forever. I actually stamped this image and colored it 4 times. *eye roll *
This card is for 365 cards challenge 117 – Simply stamped. One image, one sentiment.
I decided to keep the entire card simple. I did trim my image panel so the card has a little depth to it, but that’s it.
The first time I colored with SU’s new Rich Razzleberry – pretty color, but it was just too dark – ugh! Second and third time tried lightening the RR – still ugh. Fourth time I switched colors – settled on Crushed Curry – then added some shimmery paint for some sparkle.
Have a wonderful day!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!
Stamps: Unity Little Buggers

I think it's a beautiful card!
Whis is that, that the simple ones do seem to take the longest???
I love the "crispness" of it!
gorgeous!
I think it came out great! Sometimes the cards we think are going to be soooo simple are the ones that challenge us! (well, at least for me!!)
I love the embossed border!
You nailed it on the 4th try, but I imagine the others look good too! Simple cards are hard to do. The extra white layer really did the trick to make everything POP!
Classic! I feel the same way about "simple" cards! Your efforts were definitely worth it! Blessings to you!
Love this!
Michelle, I love this! The colors are great and the simple look definitely works here. :)
Pretty! I really liked Crushed Curry!
This looks pretty in the yellow color. I like the simplicity but how you added just a bit more detail with the border treatment. I know what you mean about a card that should take just a few minutes and it takes an hour. Happens to me all the time.
so sweet and beautiful..and an excellent example of how "less is more" TFS!
cute little card, simple and sweet!
Lol - well for all the work it took you, this card is beautifully done!
