3-fer

I love combining challenges to create cards.

For this card, I combined 3 challenges –

Kwernerdesigns CI55 – using basic gray, rust, mustard and vanilla/cream. I used SU’s basic gray, really rust, mostly mustard and very vanilla. I sponged my gray on my base, and stamped my images and background in gray. My background was stamped off once.
I colored my leaves with really rust and mostly mustard using reinkers and paint brush.

365 cards challenge 61 “Leaf it up to me” to use one, two or three leaves on your card, and

SCS CAS12 – Little bits of ribbon.

I added some hoarded SU hodge podge hardware and twine.

I used my Fiskars Rope punch for the bottom and then layered my more mustard cs under the punched areas.

Now, I have to be honest, I’m not sure if I’m loving this card or not – not sure what I’ll do with it, but I’m thinking I can add a layer in the center with a sentiment for a masculine card.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

CS and DP: SU WW, basic gray, really rust, more mustard, very vanilla

Very pretty Michelle!! Love the colors. You actually did the Way to Use it Challenge at SC for last week too, to use text on your card. Your background is text.
Hope you are having a good day!!

I like the overall design and colors. And that border punch is neat. I know what you mean about being unsure about whether to add more to a card because there is always the chance of overdoing it. I think that your card would be fine as is for an any occasion card, but you do still have room for a sentiment in the middle and I don't think it would distract from the design at all.

Great take on all the challenges! Did you mask and stamp the background? The card needs nothing more, it is just perfect the way it is :)
