Relaxing bill book

My son moved back home recently since he is getting a divorce and needed to set up a new system for his bills. He liked my notebook system, so wanted one of his own. For some reason, he didn’t like my pink flowery notebook!

This little scene actually works for 365 Cards challenge 24, Setting the Scene. I used SU’s Backwoods set, and the actual scene was inspired by the amazing Michelle Zindorf’s card.

I actually created, stamped, colored and sponged this scene 3 times. No brayering for me as I am brayer challenged! The first time, I didn’t like it. The second time Andrew didn’t like it. Third time is a charm and this is the end result. When I stamped this, I didn’t own a mirror stamp *gasp* so I stamped my mirror image on acetate then placed on my card stock. It works, but after countless failed attempts, I decided to buy a mirror stamps, which I got at Michael’s with a coupon for about $5.00.

I’m a little disappointed I only managed one challenge on this little creation. Maybe tomorrow’s project will cover a couple of challenges!

Have a wonderful day!

Wow, incredible! I just tried to use my brayer last night and it was disasterous! I really have to give it another "go" when I have more time (and paper) to waste !
