Three little words

Did you remember to set your clocks ahead last night? Amazingly, I actually did.

Today’s another one of those rainy days here in Ohio, but it’s not snow, so it’s OK.

I needed another quick and easy thank you card. I needed at least 10 of these, so out came Three Little Words. I used Palette Noir Black, SU riding hood red and whisper white.

Yesterday when I ran to the store, I finally picked up a pad of Palette Noir Black ink. I think this might just be my favorite black ink. It’s a nice crisp pure black, and from what I have read is good for everything. From what I have read this is THE ink to use for stampin’. We’ll see how it works for water coloring and with my Bic’s and Prisma’s before I make any final decisions. So, tell me, what is YOUR favorite black ink?

ETA: My black frame and image are compliments of my Nesties curved rectangles.

Happy Stampin'!

Yep, remembered the clocks and it is rainy in Michigan too!
Your card is very nice, simple and elegant and says what you need it to!

Simple and elegant.

My favorite all time black ink is Archival Jet Black. It's a true black and is fade proof, smear proof and water proof. I have used it with every kind of coloring technique and it has stood up to all of them. I have heard good things about the ink you bought too. I have just never had a chance to try it for myself.

I don't have a favourite black ink (yet). There are so many. What makes it worse - there are so many colouring techniques. I would love to find one ink good for all techniques.

I love your card. What did you use for the "frame" and mat for the frame. I really like it. TFS

Michelle, I too love the Nior Black.. I love the blackness of this ink. Its not dark purple like SU's can be.
