Pearly dreams

TGIF! Thank goodness for the weekend! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I got to start my weekend early, but not sure that is a good thing this weekend. I’ve had a killer headache since I woke up this morning. I think I am allergic to having to go to work!

I made this card for a SCS sketch challenge and got to use my new paper from Walmart. And I used SU’s Dreams du Jour which I held off buying for some reason I’ve yet to figure out because I absolutely love this set! I added half pearls to the flower and the polka dotted ribbon, but not sure how I feel about the ribbon. I do love the sketch, but, I don’t know. Maybe tomorrow I’ll add more to this and post a new version.

I don’t go to Walmart too often since it’s about 25 minutes from my house, but, since the little one has Boy Scouts on Monday and the meetings are almost across the street from Walmart what’s a girl to do? I love their scrapbook/card section and found this paper there for about $8.00 for the entire pad.

Now, I’ve been looking and looking for gray, black and white paper and when I saw this I fell in love with it and just HAD to have it.

I took half a day off work today since I totally forgot that today was early release for my son. (BAD Mommy!) So, I got my stuff baked for the spaghetti dinner. Instead of cookies I made spice cake and brownies, so I can cross that off my to do list for tomorrow and play for a while.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Stampin'!

This is a really beautiful card. Black and white ia always a great combination. Great powerful message too, that is always important to a card.
