Going to the chapel

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

I need a wedding card for an upcoming wedding and had absolutely nothing in my stash. After mentally running through my stash of stamps, I couldn’t come up with a single stamp that was wedding worthy. Then, * light bulb * I remembered this stamp that I hardly ever used but had bought for a bridal shower.

I wanted simple, but elegant. This is the end result. I stamped my image with Palette Noir Black and colored with my copics. I wanted a rich red for my roses. I’m not sure how I feel about this yet, but fortunately I still have time so I can rework this, if need be. I’m thinking about a layer of velum over my image panel, but ehh

Have a wonderful Monday.

Happy Stampin'!

This just beautiful. I think you achieved your goal of simple, but elegant, and then some. I can see why you might be tempted by a vellum layer but the wonderful thing with vellum layers is you can "try it before you buy it" :)
