Dirty Dozen challenge update

Do you remember my early post about the Dirty Dozen Challenge to find one of your early posts and case yourself?

Well, I did find my first post on SCS and really don’t know what I was thinking when I posted this card. It’s pretty sad. But on the up side, I see how much I’ve grown in just a year of daily stamping and Splitcoast. I’ve learned so much and improved so much. Here’s my cased version. Yep, I changed pretty much everything about it, except the Kraft CS, the stamp set (Blossoms Abound) and a couple of the ink colors.

Even though this set is a 2 step set, I 3 stepped the flowers using Lovely Lilac, Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink. My leaves on my main image are stamped in Always Artichoke. I stamped my stems then inked my leaves and stamped them off once. For my background, I used Always Artichoke and stamped the stems off twice and the leaves 3 times.

The ribbon I used here is from a basket from my Dad’s funeral. I unpotted the basket because it was full of plants that needed to be in individual planters and wasn’t sure what to do with the ribbon, but it’s been sitting here for about 3 weeks.
So, who else wants to share? I’d love to see your early posts and your new, cased version.

Happy Stampin'!

I thought your original was simple and pretty. This re-take definitely ramps up the elegance with the triple stamping and beautiful bow.
