Crazy Friday

Ribbon, ribbon and oh, yeah, MORE RIBBON.

Here’s my ribbon so far., and there’s more that has been put on bobbins.

I went through rolls and rolls of ribbon and now have these nice little organized containers.

I have one container dedicated to ribbon with spots, stripes or other designs, one container dedicated to just white, one for off white, (these 2 may be combined – but I’m not done rolling yet) and 2 for colors. For my colors, I decided to rely on good ole Roy. You know Roy, Roy G. Biv.

Now, I still have more ribbon on rolls and haven’t rolled my SU ribbon yet. And we can’t forget my huge jar or ribbon pieces and parts. I have no idea what I’ll do with that, but I love the mason jars filled with ribbon wrapped around the clothes pin, but honestly, I’m tired of ribbon! So, we will see how this system works for me. I’ve seen lots of folks use this or something similar.

The very sweet, talented and organized Patter Cross (Triple the Scraps) uses the Cropper Hopper ribbon storage. You can see her very organized ribbon here

The amazing Becca Feeken (amazing Paper Grace) uses a similar system that she created and you can see that here . Now, she has massive amounts of ribbon!

There are countless ribbon organization systems out there. What is yours and how does it work for you?
Now, I'm off to work, the I have to make cookies for the Boy Scout dinner! Did I mention I don't bake? Everyone who knows me knows, I don't bake. I have a girlfriend I get to do all my baking, but she can't this weekend, so, I'm on my own. .. . well, not totally - I'm making the little one help!

Happy Stampin'!

gorgeous ribbon....I have lots of it too. I have mine on ribbon rings. I made my own little cards and bought rings at Office Max. I have them hanging on a FREE curtain rod I got at a rummage sale....I love the rainbow and the handiness of having it hanging in sight where I can easily grab the piece I need.

Wow! You go girl organizing all that gorgeous ribbon!!!

I use the SU! organizers for my ribbon and I love it. I also have a jar that I use for my scraps of ribbon. I wrapped them around the round tab punch and that works great for me!

I so need some organization like this in my studio...The one thing that absolutly bugs the heck out of me is my ribbon "storage"...its in bags and boxes and rolls. Thanks for the peek into what it could look like! =:O)

After a visit to a ribbon outlet store, I'd have thousands of these! It is a terrific idea! Have fun creating! (and baking)

Oh how beautiful! It looks so neat and pretty in all those little rows. I have most of my ribbon in drawers by color but it is a mess. One of my goals this week is actually to organize!
