Lovely as a Tree - Sympathy

I wanted to play with a monochromatic color scheme, so for some reason I honed in on Handsome Hunter and Sage Shadow, with a touch of Very Vanilla and then added just a touch of Chocolate Chip.

I added SU’s Lovely as a Tree stamped in Handsome Hunter and the sentiment came from my drawer of cheap individual stamps I have been known to pick up here and there.

The ribbon . . . oh, my! I was in Joann’s this weekend and they had all of their Christmas stuff on clearance for 90% off. I picked up this roll of ribbon for 19 cents! Yep, 19 cents! I also picked it up in white and navy. I figured if I didn’t like it, I wasn’t out much. Now, I want to go back and get more of this ribbon, if there’s any left, but right now it is 7 degrees out, but feels like –4 and I’m not going anywhere. It’s been freezing all day, they even cancelled school and I took off work since I had no one to watch my little one.

I also got a small desk lamp from Normande Lighting for $6.00, which I was really thrilled about. I’ve been looking at these lights and the Ott lights forever – I would love to get an Ott light but can’t afford one. I’ve heard wonderful things about the lights from Normande Lighting and figured if I wasn’t crazy about it, I was only out $6.00. But, so far, I am liking it – just need to learn how to aim it better for my photos.

Happy Stampin'!
