Antique butterfly

It’s been so cold and nasty lately, that I’ve just stayed in and caught up on challenges, cards, and other projects. This layout is from SCS sketches challenge SC110

I love the old antique look of the paper on this one. But, I had no antique looking paper, so I made some. I used a piece of white CS, and made a cup of tea. I took the tea bag and placed it on the cardstock over and over again letting the tea soak into the CS. Then I dried the cs with my heat tool and stamped my image in brown stazon.
The DP is from my stash and I really like this layout, but it was a tough one.

Happy Stampin'!

Wow this card is stunning! You put so much work into it and it was so worth it, just beautiful!

I think you've made this card beautifully. One of my favourites as I'm going thru your blog. I find sketches very challenging, for all the wrong reasons, sometimes. Love how you improvised and aged your CS to suit your needs.
